Terms & Conditions

1. Pricing: The price quoted to the client is for the work offered in this promotion only. Any additions and/or modifications may result in additional charges. Market Ease will accept these changes with the condition that additional charges will be negotiated.
2. Payment: Full payment for the setup cost of the project is required before work can commence. After work commences, this is non-refundable.
3. Website Templates: Some elements of the website templates (such as menu/logo location etc.) are in fixed locations and are unable to be customized. All templates come in three colour schemes, and you are unable to choose colours outside of the three available. For further clarification, please enquire about what is able to be changed on your desired template.
4. Website Hosting: In conjunction with the setup costs, there is a minimum 6 month contract for website hosting with Market Ease and a monthly payable amount of $20.00 ($120.00 for 6 months). After the 6 month contract expires, debits will continue on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified by the client. Hosting elsewhere is possible with the consequence of losing the content management system that allows the client to update the website without programming knowledge.
5. Content Management System: The content management system provided with this package is pre- installed on our hosting server only and is therefore non transferrable. Transferring your website to a different webhost will cease access to our content management system.
6. Cancellation: Should the client wish to cancel the webhosting service within the first 6 months, they will be held liable for the remaining amount.
7. Website Ownership: Ownership of the website and registered domain name can only be transferred to the client after the 30 day guarantee period. During the first 30 days, they remain the property of Market Ease Business Promotions.
8. Guarantees: The 5 day guarantee is applicable only when ALL website contents (including: images, site layout, text etc.) are received, and assuming that there is no change of contents within this time frame. The Guarantee does not include adding images to image galleries or adding items to shopping carts as it is the client's responsibility to update and maintain these aspects of the website.
9. Clients Responsibilities with Regard to Copyright: In situations where the client provides images, text, animations or any other content for their website, it is their legal responsibility to ensure that this material does not infringe any copyright. Some images provided by Market Ease in the construction of the website may have been purchased under licence from stock image suppliers. These images are generally only licensed for use on a single website and may not be used in publicity material. The website owner is legally responsible for ensuring that this does not happen. If you wish to use any images from the site for other purposes please contact us for clarification.
10. Search Engine Promotion: Market Ease is not responsible for the client's on-going web site promotion. Should the client require the site to be promoted on an ongoing basis, a separate contract must be agreed. The order in which websites are ranked in the search engine results is controlled by the search engines. While we can optimise your site for this, we are unable to make any guarantees about the success of any search engine promotion activity.
11. Future Support: The website provided by Market Ease will be fully functional with all the contents and features of the initial agreement. Once the client has approved the web site and the site is published, Market Ease will provide documentation to assist with updating it. Should the client require further support, it can be provided upon request and for an agreed fee.
12. Future Site Problems: Unfortunately, malicious software, spyware, website hacking , and viruses occur beyond Market Ease's control. It is unlikely that these will affect your website, and Market Ease will endeavour to implement security measures during its creation to prevent attacks. Market Ease cannot be held responsible for problems that may arise due to illegal or un-authorized activities on your website.
